Team Associates started as a consulting practice — helping other companies design, debug, and ship electronic products. That work is still the core of what we do: electrical engineering, firmware, and the test and bring-up work that turns a prototype into something a production line can build.
More recently, we've started applying that same discipline to our own hardware. Our first product, the HDMI Tester & Terminator, grew directly out of a recurring problem we kept solving for clients: confidently verifying an HDMI connection without hauling out a lab scope.
Every engagement starts with the same question: what do you actually need to know, and how do we measure it? We'd rather bring back a hard truth early than a comfortable guess late. That approach — verify, don't assume — shows up in our consulting work and in the products we design.
